VideoIQ Bringing Intelligence to every surveillance system.................
In the world of Video Analytics one company is unique in the way that it delivers solutions to the security Industry. That company is VideoIQ Inc.
VideoIQ are the only manufacturer in the analytics market sector that produces the ICVR, a camera, DVR and analytics engine in one unit. This unique approach has a number of significant advantages for the installer and end user;
• Massive reduction in bandwidth burden on the network
• Reduced installation costs
• Reduced storage cost
• Video recording is immune to network downtime
In addition to this unique approach to recording and transmission VideoIQ is also the only video analytics company in the World to boast an analytics device that learns its environment and is self calibrating. The industry standard for calibrating a camera is 4-10 man hours and of course anytime the background in the field of view changes then normally an engineer would need to visit site to reprogramme the device. Because of the intelligence within the VideoIQ ICVR none of this is necessary. The ICVR keeps learning and gets smarter each day it’s in operation.
This produces increased cost savings to the installer in both installation and maintenance costs and minimises set up errors.
The algorithmic based analytics system detects people, vehicles and boats. It ignores dogs, cats and other small animals that are often responsible for false alarms within other systems. It also ignores trees blowing in the wind, light reflection from rain and can accurately detect objects in the most challenging conditions that would generally be missed by the operator.
The self learning technology within the iCVR gets smarter with each object detected and because it’s intelligent and learning the changes in the field of view every minute of every hour of every day the growth or shedding of foliage does not produce false alarms.
The industry’s highest video quality – when you need it.
The VideoIQ ICVR through its analytics dynamically captures critical events at the highest frame rate, resolution and quality, while at the same time continuously recording everything at the usual lower quality settings used in DVR’s. Since the camera knows what video is important, customers never need sacrifice quality.
Rapid incident investigation.
VideoIQ’s powerful object search capability enables customers to specifically search for a person or vehicle of interest simply by clicking on their image. VideoIQ automatically searches across terabytes of video from any of the VideoIQ cameras and encoders on the network, and delivers results in seconds.
Automatic e-mail notification.
When security threats are detected, the ICVR directly emails alarm messages to a user defined list. Recipients use a web browser to instantly access the recorded alarm clip and the live stream from the camera, enabling them to evaluate the threat immediately and contact appropriate authorities from any location or supported device.
No hidden costs.
VideoIQ is unique amongst its competitors because our VideoIQ View video management software comes free with every camera and encoder and there are no licence fees. Once you have purchased your camera or encoder all you need do is install it and programme your region of interest.
Simple programming.
Setting up your region of interest is simplicity itself. It’s a Windows based programme with drop down boxes that cover the more popular applications and user defined parameters with straight forward text entry. It’s takes a novice less than 10 minutes to set up a region of interest and once more experience is gained this is reduced to less than half that time.
